SLM Student Loans
CalCopa works with the SLM Financial Corporation, Sallie Mae company and subsidiary of
Fannie Mae Foundation.  SLM provides funds for vocational education student loans.  These
are primarily federally guaranteed students loans originated under the Federal Family Loan
Program (FFELP).  Students are able to request funds to pay for tuition, books and
supplies.  Additional funds may be requested to assist with personal expenses.  Students
can take up to 15-years to pay back the loan, or choose to pay it early without penalty.  If
you are interested in applying for the SLM Student Loan, contact the CalCopa, or you may
apply on line at the
SLM Website.  (Contact Name:  Michelle Mangano)
